GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
- Interns must complete all
Program Requirements in order to be eligible to graduate. This includes:
- Completion of the required
number of hours in each rotation.
- Satisfactory completion of all
rotations and achievement of entry level competency in all rotations
- Satisfactory completion of all
assignments as determined by Internship Faculty
- Completion of the Address
Verification Form
- Financial obligations to the
Program must be paid in full
- Once all the above requirements
are met, the Internship Director will send 4 signed originals of the
Verification Statement to the intern and place one signed original in the
intern’s file.
- The Internship Director will
then process paperwork to be sent to the Commission on Dietetic
Registration (CDR).
- It is expected that Program
requirements will be completed within fourteen (14) months of the Program
start date. Continuation in the program after that time will result
in a continuation fee of 1/12 of the current tuition per month for a
maximum of seven (7) months, unless an alternative arrangement is agreed
upon between the intern and the Internship Director.
- Failure to complete program
requirements within twenty one (21) months of the Program start date (150%
of planned completion) will lead to termination in the Program unless a
specific alternative plan is agreed upon between the intern and the
Internship Director.
- NOTE: Many states have
licensure for dietitians. It is the intern’s responsibility to know
what the regulations are in the state where s/he will practice.
Before graduation, interns will check their states’ licensure regulations
to assure that they are in compliance upon accepting positions in that
state.
